As I am gettiing back into trains after not looking at the hobby for 7 years, this product and concept is new to me. (Gonna be a lot of that I can tell)
Are they easy to install or do you recommend they do it? Thanks for the replies! |

I have a MC2, SC, and a hotbox reefer circuit that I just got in last week.
I have multiple paint projects in front of me before I tackle the hotbox reefer car. I assume the difficulty will match that project and will share with the forum when I get it done. The instructions should be on the website, and the "kits" so to speak seem to be plug n play kind of things. Doesn't appear to be too hard if you just sit down, read what to do, and be patient. I Think 3rd Rail ("premium" (not ultra-premium) brass trains) are switching to using ERR's cruise commander, so there must be something good with their products. I've met Jon Z a few times and he strikes me as a pretty well knowledgeable guy who stands behind his designs. I have full confidence in anything he has designed for the ERR line of products. Up to you of course! ---------- David Friedlander SR/NS Radio Receiver Car Kits are now shipping! 3R, 3RS, and 2R! See all 3 pilot models here: http://www4.ncsu.edu/~djfriedl/SRRKit.html |
