Anyone know of a good way of stripping Weaver's silver paint? I assume its the same to strip as it is for regular colors?

have you tried scalecoats paint stripper. it is a weaver product and should work

I will use their stuff as a last resort. Was hoping someone had a typical household item so I don't have to special order their stripper.

Spray that dude with spray oven cleaner and wash the paint off. I use it often.
