I have already made a couple of posts and got great answers, thanks again. I understand what it is you're trying to achieve and applaud the desire and success. I must admit, however, that on my limited space and budget I cannot attain the level of scale that your forum is pointed to. I hope maybe in the future with some real estate concessions to do better, but my goal is to run the trains and have fun while trying to keep it an approximation of what I see when rail fanning. (Yes I am a fence fly, as we say at the Depot) I do want things to look as though they belong and fit together. Hence my search for scale sized lamps, etc. So far everything I've found looks like it belongs in 'G' scale. I hope my presence and lowly little railroad won't cause to much trouble. Thanks again for the responses, I have to say that I'm getting better feedback here than on some of the others. I get good results on the DCS one, but I always ask specific questions there. Anyway, thanks...
Cheryl

This forum is the place to talk about what was prototype and how to model it in our 3R 0 gauge envirnonment. Anything that is relevant to that topic is always welcome here. Keep asking questions, providing feedback to others who have questions too and don't be worried about stating "That ain't right!" when it comes to a model vs. the real thing.
This can be a lively place at times, but in the end we are all striving to make our models more realistic and your post on what is scale in buildings was a very welcome thread.

Welcome Charly. I second Jonathan's well phrased statement:
