I just added the powered B-unit to the WP A-B-A to have a 4-motor A-B-B-A. BUT, the powered A goes faster than the powered B..............So much so that they are 'fighting'. Is this a new or rare problem? Is there a known fix?
Maybe I should 'readi-in' the new chip that came with the new B............I'll try that.

Make sure all locos have the Odyssey Cruise on, it seems as one may not in your description. If all locos do not Cruise on -or- all locos do not have cruise off; then they won't match up.
Each Loco is run through a speed step qualification before shipment, so if the cruise switch is not your problem, return the loco for repair.
BUT, I have yet-another problem with this engine, and I'll bet I'm not alone: ALL 3 electrocouplers open 'randomly'!! Another owner told me to contact a repair tech at Talbot's [I'm sure you know the store; and maybe the tech: Marshall.] Advice given: Open the coupler [remove the rivet, etc], stretch the 'holding' spring, and re-install. This did NOT work.......What DID work was to note that the angle in the 'detent' of the knuckle seemed too large. After filing the notch to a smaller angle [closer to 90-degrees] and re-assembling [with new rivet], ..... VOILA!! It worked!!
B 4 trying this to the other 2 that have failed, I thought I'd bring this to the attention of both youu and the Forum to gage the reactions.........

jon indicated that trailing engines in Legacy will go slightly slower than the lead engine. Because I utilize the engines with separate trains, after starting them as a lashup, I select the eng button and then each trailing engine individually and then they go at the same speed.
