Hello,
All functions of the TMCC diesel work fine but there is no sound at all after working since I bought it at York. Could I have turned Railsounds off some how? I tried start up and volume buttons and still no sounds. Brian |

Brian, Check for a switch under the engine railsounds/signalsounds you might have hit the switch.
Also work the volume pot back and forth, they get dirty and will loose contact. Open up the engine and check for a loose board. Doug Keeping the NYC running in the twentyfirst century. |

Doug,
Thanks for the info. I'll try it. I'm hoping it's a mechanical failure. |

Doug,
I tried everything you suggested and still know sounds. I called Weaver. Spoke live to someone after only two rings of the phone. I was on with tech support in less than 30 seconds. They are sending me a warranty replacement speaker. All customer service and support should be this good. Brian |

You heard the rings... Well that rules out one possible explanation. Cam |

Good one, Cam.

Oh yes, I heard the rings. It was actually ring back tone.

Weaver sent a new speaker in 3 days. I installed it and we are as good as new.
Thanks to all for the suggestions and humor. |

Interesting. It's unusual to hear of a speaker failing, even cheapo ones seem to last unless they are seriously abused.

Brian, Good to HEAR lol

Cam,
I have had two cases of speaker failure. -Yes We Can- Bill Parkinson - Liberty Hi-Railers - a modular railroad club in the Philly metro area. |
