Does anyone know if Digital Dynamics is still in business? I did an online order two weeks ago for two MotorMites and a followup email a week later but never received a reply.

I have heard a great deal of good things about DD but too many times I see these kinds of posts. There seems to be a really poor communication issue with DD and it's customers. I know it's a side business and all but to be honest with all the posts on lack of communications I see on this forum I'd never personally do business with them no matter what.

I placed it again yesterday and just got a mail that the motormite DC was out of stock and to expect 2 - 3 weeks until it was on stock.
OK with me, so try send him an e-mail again.

Hello,

I placed a online order for 6 MotorMites way back in May. I got a E-mail saying that the MotorMites were expected to be in-stock in 4 to 6 weeks. Come late July, still nothing. Tried for a week to contact them (him). Phone would just ring and then go to answering machine. One night he did answer. Told me that the MotorMites were being assembled as we speak and will be ready in a few weeks! So that was July/Aug and it is now late October. Still no MotorMites. Good luck with to all of you with your orders. On Monday, I ordered the new MiniCommander II from Electric RR. They arrived yesterday (Thursday). Electric RR is on the ball and has great tech support. I wanted to support a fellow New Englander and his side business. But after 6 months I moved on and now have the command units to convert my 4 Beeps, 2 Buddys and Polar Express to TMCC.

Well I am glad it is not just me I guess. I ordered a Motor Mite last summer with plans to order several more. When I did not hear anything for a couple of weeks I called. Actually I called several times but finally got him. He said it would be only a few weeks before they were in. This was around the 1st of September. I send another email last week and got no response either. Not sure what is going on. The problem is he is the only one with a small AC controller. I wish ERR would make one. I asked if they were working on a small one for AC like the Mini Commander 2 but Ken said no.

Say what you will about their service, at least their instruction manuals provide enough information to install. The Electric Railroad manual begins with "after you have connected the power..."

I just received an email from Digital Dynamics stating that my order will ship on Monday. No explanation for the delay or lack of a reply from him.
