I have an electronic coupler on one of my TMCC engines that pops open under a heavy load. Is there any way I can fix this short of replacing the coupler?

Sometimes this is due to a weak spring in the coupler. It removes like the post war electro coupler, you can probably stretch the spring a bit and re-install and see if that helps..
