Hello everyone...

I currently am running MTH PS1 and PS2 engines with a pair of Lionel Postwar ZW transformers and DCS. I have four loops each on a variable output of a TIU. There are 2 TIU's to accomplish this. There are 22 turnouts each controlled either by the remote Lionel lever or an AIU. As yet I do not have any other Command style locomotives, ie TMCC, but they may be in the future. With the above configuration what would I need to run TMCC on my layout...

A few months ago, I added TMCC so I could run my first TMCC engine from the MTH Remote (and, of course, to be able to buy & run any future TMCC engines I add to the layout).

Before adding TMCC, my layout ran only MTH PS2 engines with a TIU & Remote DCS System. I do have an AIU - but it is not yet hooked up. My transformer is the MRC Pure Power AC @ 130W which has a straightforward PW design without any advanced electronic circuits (except the overload sensing circuit).

To get TMCC up & running on DCS, I added:
- Command Base 6-12911
- CAB-1 Remote 6-12868
- MTH TIU to TMCC Command Base interface cable 50-1018
I bought the TMCC Base & Remote used from OGR Forum members for just under $100 and found the interface cable new for $20 from an LHS.
