It may. If it does no big deal, contact lionel and ask for a chip replacement.
I assume your ZW is a PWC series. If it is not then you most likely will have no problems |

Are all ZWs with the 2 PHs included in the PWC Series?
Were there certain years for the ZW PWC series? My PHs are 180s and not the 135s, if that helps. Too many hobbies, too little time and money. |

I think the PWC series only came with 135 watt PH

I have good news and bad news.
The good news is that my new pullmor powered TMCC locomotive does work perfectly. The bad news is that it does NOT work with the ZW. I had to use a small old transformer. Looks like I will be calling Lionel for the upgraded ZW chip. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Red Bucket, Too many hobbies, too little time and money. |

More bad news.
I called Lionel and the chips are out of stock. They said to try again in a couple of weeks? Do I have any other options for a chip? I dont mind paying a few dollars for one. Too many hobbies, too little time and money. |

I called again this morning.
The chips are still out of stock. Too many hobbies, too little time and money. |

My new ZW chip arrived today.
I will install and test it sometime later this week and post an after-action-report. Too many hobbies, too little time and money. |

It wasnt easy, but I finally got the the new chip installed and put the ZW back together and wired it up.
The Pullmor powered TMCC locomotive now runs flawlessly. Too many hobbies, too little time and money. |
