My local hobby store called and asked if I would come in and set up Legacy on the store layout. Holding back my excitement was rather hard, but I quickly accepted the offer. There is nothing like walking into a hobby store and just start pulling items off the shelf, opening them up and start playing with them. Since the layout had no command system installed, just a new ZW, setting up Legacy was a breeze. The train I was using was the CSX SD-40 Husky Stack set. All went very smooth with setup, train ran flawless. The only thing I am having issues with is working with the Crew Talk and Tower Com. The manual says use AUX 1, then a certain number to activate a certain conversation. When I press AUX 1 on the Legacy remote, my buttons do not change to numbers. How do I activate the various dialog with the Legacy hand held unit? Here is the manual.

Dave; Press the Speed bar so the various icons are showing rather than the numbers. On the lower left side is a Tower Icon. If you press Aux1, the icon changes shading to a darker image. If you press that icon the tower message is "hold for further instructions". Press Aux1 again, the shading shanges back and when you press the Tower icon again the message is "clear board". The Icon for engineer talk is the middle of the first row and does the same thing. Mel Hazen
Pressing Aux 1 will initiate a negative response in any crew talk or tower com messages. By just pressing the crew talk which was the the #2 button on the cab-1 or tower com which was the #7 button on the cab-1 will give yopu positive responses. To get the icons instead of numbers on the cab-2, you need to set up your engine in TMCC mode which yopu can do manually with the info key or use the white generic plug-in module.
