Maybe the voltage droops too much when you fire a bank of switches at one time.
How are you powering the switches? Michael ![]() ![]() |

Actually Michael the SC2 has built in time delay while executing the route. Each switch throws one at a time.

With my Cab-2 I can switch as rapidly as I want, if switches are addressed individually. Also the switches ALWAYS switch when addressed individually. The problem is that sometimes the route command will send all but one of the switch commands for the route. I can see hear this and also see this (green light) on the SC-2s. Sometimes repeating the route command will still not provide a command to the SC-2 or switch in question.
I have just started to add in sub-routes that duplicate the switches in the route. (This may repeat the number of times the command is sent to each switch in the route.) Limited testing but no missed switches so far. |

Greenline, I have done excessive testing with SC-2's and the Legacy system. I found that if you change your setting to 1 sec to 1.25 seconds, you will have the least throw errors. (not throwing) You hit the nail on the head when you create a sub-route to throw the same set of switches. I found that is the only way to get a 100% success rate. The problem lies in the programming of the SC-2. The Legacy is throwing commands at it too fast and it basically has a hard time keeping up. The ASC has no problems.
