Anyone have any experience setting up TMCC AMC units output voltages and modes with a Legacy CAB-2? I can't get AC or DC voltage out of my 2 AMC units. All TMCC track power controllers and my Log Loader accessory (all on the same serial data bus from the Legacy base) work fine. It looks like I can set the addresses in the AMC units --the green LED stays on for a second, as it should, when I address the unit with the jumper off and press 'SET'-- but no matter what I do with the Cab-2 boost/break/red knob/aux1/L,M,H buttons I can't get any voltage out of the Motor or Lights terminals.
I must be overlooking something obvious...not likely both units are bad. Don't have a Cab 1 setup...new hobby for me, started with legacy...so I can't try that. So far, Legacy is great... Any ideas? //Mark |

my amc works fine under Legacy, however it was programed using tmcc. This may make a difference.

Hi Mark.
Like Jim I had my AMC already programed and running with my Cab 1 before Legacy came out. When I got Legacy I just hooked up the serial cable to the Legacy base and added it to the Cab 2 and it worked fine. What did you set it up as in the Cab 2. Mine is set as Type - Other, Control - Cab 1, Sound - No. If that's not what you have try these settings. You can change these settings by addressing the AMC and then hitting the INFO button on the top right of the Cab 2. |
