I apoligize in advance about this, but i dont have the time right now to sift thru all the posts to find the answers.
Question 1. When i set up my new legacy, do i use the white memory moduals to load up stuff or is it allready loaded? Question 2. I managed to get a tmcc 1 loaded in, but i get no speed graph or momuntum. Is this stuff only aviable in legasy/tmcc 2? Question 3. What the heck is the three way cord that comes with it, and where does it go? LOL LOL Question 4. I have power master bricks, which i used a cab 1 to turn on and off track power. DO i need a new cord to do this or can i leave my original cab 1 hooked up and just use it to turn the track power on and off? Thansk again everyone. I am working 80 hours a week (no lie) saving up for an adoption, but i treated myself to a nice legacy system. Also i have a TPC hooked up also, however i have a seperate transformer hooked to the tracks and it seems easier to just turn that on than to hook up and use the tpc 400. Am i right or wrong on that? You need to use the white modules. Make sure you have addressed the engine you wish to load before installing the memory module. These will only setup the basics. Control type TMCC and RS are the defaults. You will still need to add the name and Cab numbers. If you have a RS5 engine you will need to edit that in the info setup for that particular engine. I hate to say it but it would be easier to read the book than for me to type this all out or watch this... Adding a RS5 engine into Legacy. If you have just a RS leave that selected. Question 2. I managed to get a tmcc 1 loaded in, but i get no speed graph or momuntum. Is this stuff only aviable in legasy/tmcc 2? It is available to TMCC1 engines provide that the control setting for that engine is set to TMCC1. Once again that is in the info area when that particular engine is selected. Question 3. What the heck is the three way cord that comes with it, and where does it go? LOL LOL If you are using a TPC and still using CAB1 and the TMCC1 base the Y cord connects them. If you are not using the TMCC1 base leave that end dangle. (It's marked) and just connect the TPC end. Question 4. I have power master bricks, which i used a cab 1 to turn on and off track power. DO i need a new cord to do this or can i leave my original cab 1 hooked up and just use it to turn the track power on and off? Yes use your Cab1 for now, A device called a Powermaster bridge will be available soon and then the Legacy remote will talk to them directly. Also i have a TPC hooked up also, however i have a seperate transformer hooked to the tracks and it seems easier to just turn that on than to hook up and use the tpc 400. Am i right or wrong on that? Either way...that's what the Y cord is for. "Then again what do I know?
