I am considering adding TMCC to my layout and I want to run both conventional and TMCC engines. I know I need to add a Powermaster unit but which one? There are two listed, a 12867 and a 24130. Which do I use. Thanks.

This question has been asked a lot. In my opinion you should go with the Track Power Controllers and not Powermasters. They have a number of additional features and are compatible with the Legacy system.

By all means, go with a TPC. When I first started with Powermasters, they were nothing but trouble. I know that they improved. However, if go to some LIonel catalogues it will show that the TPC's are best. You will not regret it.
