Still waiting for my first Legacy engine...GS-4. Is it still scheduled for May delivery? This year? I hope so...-dischler

While the authors wildly swerving train of thought did at one point flirt with coherence, this brief encounter was more likely a chance event (see statistical analysis in table 5) than a result of even rudimentary lucidity."

Joe, I believe I'll be a happy engineer learning how to handle her and her new features.
dischler, I just checked lionels shipping page still showing may,08 so keep fingers crossed that it stays on track. been this close before and puff the magic dragon.
It's May, and I can't wait to try a Legacy engine...and a GS4 to boot. Come on UPS! - dischler

dischler, so far no change on ship date still shows to ship may-08. this is the only Legacy engine for me and its like waiting as a kid for Christmas day to arrive. feels like mervens add on tv get here get here. haven't seen the upgrade chip for legacy either and some have theres already. in another thread talk of an antenna at best buy that enhances signal strength hope we get more info on how it well it works with obstickles etc in its way. $oo

I really doubt that. At the Legacy users group meeting at York, they indicated that beta testing was on-going and the earliest you could expect an updated module would be the end of the month. Because of FCC regulations and their testing procedures you most likely would not see a different antenna from Lionel for at least many months; however, I personally will get the hawkins antenna from Best Buy tomorrow.
I haven't heard of anyone getting the Legacy "patch" yet.

well back to square one be surprised if we see it by late august. per mike reagan at lionel possibly july more likely august. the bright side is no money put down on a pre order so if something else comes along the gs-4 can wait.
Great news - per the Lionel website, the SP GS4 (6-11127) shipped to dealers last week and we should be seeing them shortly! Hurrah! I can't wait to try my first Legacy engine! - dischler
