Well its been awhile since it was talked about upgrading older command engines so when is it going to happen or not. Anybody have an insight on this matter.I feel Lionel will not issue upgrades and just re-run the engine like they started to do already.

Do you think that Lionel is going to do the same procedure that MTH did? For a long time MTH was selling new engines similar to their PS1 locos. It was quite a while later that they finally came out with the kits to install PS2 in non PS2 locos. They probably made more money that way, but I think it was a lousy thing to do. In the past (It seems to me) Lionel has shown more character than MTH in such things.

Lisa you may well be right but with all the changes in lionel management it is hard to say there is an established pattern. chief
