Hobbystation has the #990 for $249. I've dealt with them before, and they are good.

Before buying though, I'd recommend calling any seller(s) to verify that the systems being sold have the version 1.2 update installed. Otherwise, you will have to send it to Lionel for the update.

I got my #990 and #993 from Hobby Station. Good prices and service, althought the folks at Just Trains in Delaware are reliable, friendly, and good to work with as well.

I know Ben up at Almosta Junction in Clearfield has 2 of them in stock and they are the upgraded ones with 1.2 already(I checked them for him!). He did say he is going on a quick vacation and won't be back until Thursday or Friday.
