Hi Folks

I was following this thread http://ogaugerr.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/57660482/m/ because I have a same smoke issue with the NYC GP-7 . So I tried the suggested reset procedure for Cab-1 operations . Now when I reload the legacy module, there still is no smoke although i can smell it and the exhaust is warm. In addition, the roll button in legacy which sets to speed step 1, does not result in any movement in the loco. I can hear the squeal sounds and the cab-2 says step 1 .I would like to get the roll functioning again.

Older TMCC engines with Odyssey when in TMCC mode will roll at speed step 1

Any ideas ?

Just throwing out some thoughts...

Brake setting.

Did a stall setting get set? (not sure that's possible for a Legacy engine)

Took another look. It seems that when I was moving the run/ program switch for the reset, the oddysey switch went from on to off, maybe when the truck moved?
Any way. set it back to on and we have roll at speed step 1 again.

Marty, thanks for the ideas. You were on the trail correctly when you talked about settings . It made me look again and the Oddysey setting was the culprit.

Thank you and Keep that great Legacy info coming.

I admit that I don't know everything about Legacy or TMCC but sometimes just a few suggestions will get you looking at things. That's why I encourage everyone to throw anything out. It might be obvious or a strange thought but you just never know.

Boxboy some times a near miss is as good as a direct HIT! I do not have a clue to roll 1 button and I have a few GP-7's. I should look at the books longer I guess. Nice job Marty!...
