I'm impatiently waiting on my first legacy engine so your videos are giving me insight to some of its features. the norfolk southern engine the horn has a very similar if not the same as a first edition of the rio grande sd 50 engines with railsounds from the 90's I believe. $oo

Didn't Lionel come out with Texas Special F7's that are legacy? ________________________________________________ That's me on the beach side combing the sand, metal meter in my hand , sporting a pocket full of change. Marty Great Video Man. Your Demoing the GP-7 as you did I learned it did stuff I have yet to try and use! Cool. Thanks Man. While the Video is great the AUDIO is what makes Legacy so much more fun than any other company's gear. "Radio" Commands that cause the operator to have to DO something "interactively" makes running a Lionel more like a real train. It is more fun than running a pair of GP-9's on the C.N.E. for me. Controlling my Lionel train under Legacy when the momentum is set correctly to simulate real engine characteristics takes the same amount of train savvy as running a real Geep and some cars. Hitches and station stops at passenger stations are a lot of fun. Here We kid each other should someone blow a speed order or a station spot for Peeps... LOL..
