The NS engine in this last shot was pulling a string of apparently empty hoppers and had two helpers at the end of the train. All of the hoppers were sporting fresh paint jobs and were cleaner than I've ever seen -- they looked brand new. I wonder if NS knew they would be seen by hundreds of train fans and made an effort to put on a show?

These were all taken with my antique digital camera. I'll post some of the shots from my film camera when they get developed.
