I am happy the 4877 is being repainted, and taken cre of But in DGLE? I know she was not in that color on the PRR, but while on the NTJ. But the NJT made here famous. Green is not the way to go!

The original color scheme of the GG1's was the 5 stripe Brunswick Green.
It looks like it is being returned to the originalcolor scheme as they left the Juniata shops. Smile

The Tuscan 4877 was my generation of GG1, however I agree with making per the original colors. Brunswick is beautiful!

Being built in 1939, will they be painting it in the original Loewy sans serif lettering and gold leaf 'whiskers'? Always liked that scheme!
