The big picture at Trafford on the NS Pittsburgh Line. Exactly 20 minutes after the Derby Train passes us 18N heads east towards Altoona with a nice rack!
A recently cleared out area makes this on the hillside gives us this newest view of the old PRR Tom http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=234628 |

My old stomping grounds! Is that the Mosside bridge (Rt. 48) and Pitcairn in the distance? Things look a little different from 50 years ago. There was a drop off for automobiles in Wall, PA. Looks like those carriers just pulled away from a siding in that general direction.
Thanks for the memories! Stack |

I can only imagine what that area looked like in the prr HEydays of the 1940-1950's...even the mid 60's!

Nice shot!
As an alumni of Trafford Middle school, and resident in the area, I know exactly where you're at. Very cool. |
