These 2 engines appeared recently in the Kodak yard here in Rochester. Looks like they belong in a museum. I would like to properly identify them. maybe someone may also recognize the road paint scheme.

The smaller yellow one looks like a Davenport siderodder, maybe 30 tonnes. The larger one could be an 80 ton Porter. Porter eventually bought out Davenport, so it can be hard to differentiate between the two. Both co.s made industrial switchers of sizes up to ~110 tonnes. You have two classic industrial switchers here.

They are both GEs The smaller one looks like a 45 ton GE while the larger one is a later model, perhaps an SL series.

GE 45 ton built in 1946. Or a close relative. There are pics of similar GE engines to to the larger but with sloped hoods. Probably is a newer GE. At least I know were to start looking now.
