Looking for a roster that will include older power and their fates, if
possible. I remember oodles of Geeps and old SDs back in the late '80s,
but where are they now?? The fates of some of these has been well
documented, but most are a huge question mark. Any way to find out the
ultimate fate of these guys ?? The roster info I've found thus far
isn't cutting it when it comes to where they went and when. Thanks !!

While it covers the period before Chessie, James Mischke has the most complete roster of Baltimore & Ohio diesels, following them from building, assignments to disposition and their specifications. It is available from the B&O Railroad Historical Society and can be ordered from their website.

Although he includes diesels from C&O and other roads that were assigned to or used by B&O, his book does not specifically cover all the other Chessie/CSX roads.

These would be locomotives of the C&O and WM, as well as all the "Family Lines" and other routes that became "Chessie-ized" and ulitmately drawn into CSX.
