I recently drove down US 15, past the Point of Rocks tunnel and over the bridge spanning the Potomac River. Is there an exit for the town? I would like to sightsee a bit down there, and then go to Emmitsburg to the antique shop. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, there is an exit for MD route 28 on the east side of Route 15. Other than the beautiful train station there's not much to see in the town.

If you are headed in this direction on a Sunday afternoon, you might consider a trip to Union Bridge, MD and the Western Maryland Railway Historical Society. Or there is the Hagerstown museum on South Burhans Avenue.
