Well, that cleared up one thing...I really WAS paying only 25 cents for a milk shake back then. As I tell my grandkids about the "old days", I worried that maybe it had really been 50 cents. Thanks John, now I can sleep in peace tonight Big Grin. Joe

Those look like late '40's prices, if not earlier.

Mike,

I thought that too. But in the lower right corner I think it says 9-60.

No, these really were the prices back then. I do remember that a ice cream cone cost 7 cents in the mid '50's, a "Dixie cup" 5 cents, and candy was "twofer" a penny. Seems like only yesterday to me, but 1960 was a loooong time ago...the year I graduated from high school. Joe

John, if you still want a home for this...I'll take it and make copies. I've been giving out "Drive-In Movie History" hand-outs when we set up modules at a show to kids for a school "report project", and I could give these out as well. Joe

Joe,

That's a great idea, but it came to me via email.

Having been born in 1960, when I look at the prices, it makes me really feel old! Eek
