Try Michaels craft store. Don't forget your 40% or 50% coupon!
Cool

I've never seen it at the big box home improvement stores, but you can find it at just about any crafts store--the type that sells artist and crafts supplies.

In my area, they come with the ads in the Sunday edition of the newspaper, about every-other week.

Sometimes, they come directly to you via email, if you sign-up for them. Right now, if you look on Michael's homepage, you will get a 40% Coupon when you register.

On occasion, coupons will circulate online at various websites. (Such as when someone registers, then "shares" their new coupon.)
Here's One Example. Never seen one for 45% before. They are typically 40% or 50%.

Go out to their web site and you can see the coupon and print it out. They only allow one item per coupon but my wife will go along so we print out 2. You can get on their mailing list and when they have a sale you will recieve the coupon.CharlesK

If Michaels is your choice, be sure to keep the receipts you are given on your purchases. Often included is a coupon for 40 or 50% off for a future purchase. It comes in handy for Envirotex Lite which can be a bit expensive. If I have no other major purchase, I will use the coupon to buy some of their plaster wrap. It seems to me that it has a bit more plaster embedded in the cloth and comes in longer widths than many other plaster wraps.
Don't forget to peruse through other parts of the store. In the floral areas, one can find arrangement bundles that contain tiny colored structures that can be made to look like flowers or flowery shrubs. Some of the greenery can be made to look like young trees or large weedy plants. We use quite a bit on our layout. And don't forget to check out the "pot toppers".... these can be torn apart and used much like buffalo grass on the layout. Here is a picture of my latest build, a winery, in which my wife completed the scenery using some of the purple floral material:

Those flowers look great, Rick! I'll have to keep my eye out for those.

springoflife,

Here are the items we use from Michaels floral section:

Here is another example of how we are adding them into the rest of the scenery (you can see that a little can go a long way)

Sal,

I agree that Scenic Express is a great company to deal with and that I have spent quite a bit of my scenic dollars with their products (waiting for some in the mail now), but I have limited funds. If I can get 50% off of a $28.00 product and spend no money on shipping, I would be a fool not to. I am sure that there have been quite a few products offered by Scenic Express that you have purchased elsewhere for whatever reason. I appreciate their sponsorship, but that does not limit me to buying only their products. I search for the best value I can find.

Rick
