Do you have to let Sculptamold completely dry before you paint it? Thanks for any advice.

That would depend what you were using to paint it with.

Anything that would seal it should be painted after the sculpatamold is dry.

If you were doing washes that are water based then it can be done anytime but the final effect will not be seen until all is dry.

Not sure about painting it but I do know that I set track down on it when damp once and it grew mold! Guess you just need to make sure that you don't seal any moisture in.

you can tint it when you mix it, if you are looking for a base color.
I tint mine with black powdered paint and get a nice gray base.

i usually add tint, [acrylic craft paints] when i'm mixing it to color it through.
you can't really paint it heavy when it's wet because the brush will reform any rock carving that you may have done with it.
i have given it a stain wash, [watered down craft paints] while it was still wet, letting the paint flow from top to bottom, usually a black or brown wash.
mix the paint with wet water, [add two drops of liquid dishwashing soap to the water], dip the brush in the mixture, and lightly touch the brush to the top of your rock work and let the wash flow into the crevices.

I say no. If you paint it, it will hold in the moisture. Thus, making the possibility of mold growing.
