I have a couple of friends who pride themselves on using unusual items for scenic details on their model railroads. We are always trying to out do each other.

Here is my latest attempt. One of my public buildings needed a small utility cabinet mounted on a side wall parapet. The city fathers wanted a nice-looking chrome unit. Here it is:



It's the UN Building from one of those little New York City souvenirs!

Anybody here want to take up the challenge? What have you used on your layout?
