Hi all,

A quick question - I've been looking through the scenery sourcelist and haven't found what I'm looking for... I'm looking for a source of posters to put on my Ameritowne building fronts just to add a touch of depth to their presence. If someone could point me in the direction of a website/resource which has a selection of these for free, I'd appreciate it.

Regards,

Tom

I usually find what I am looking for by doing an image search in google, I right click and save the image then print it out in the size I need, sometimes it takes a couple of printings to get the size right depending on the size of the actual jpeg. Here is are a couple of websites that have allot vintage signs:

I have a lot of advertising signs (356 signs, 17 MB)already downloaded to my computer. Send me an email and we can discuss getting them to you.

I insert the signs into an Office document then I can size them to the exact dimensions I want them. I will measure the area I want the sign to cover and then just re-size it to that size.

I used this site for posters for my theatre.http://www.privatethefilm.com/...ilia/Posters_3.shtml I just printed the stamps sized posters and glued them to the side of the building. Pretty lo-tech.

.....Tom, heres some of my favorite ads/posters all assembled on one page.
Some of these guys have seen these before, but I post them when someone has a request like yours.
.....These should be ready to send over to your printer....Hope you can use them.

....Heres some Coke ones that I like....

.....These next ones are good for "filler" or background signs..

.....These next ones are a bit unusual, but cool...

..........Well thats it for now. Again, hope you can use some of these..

Here's Mike Tylick's site. If you go down a little you'll see his signs and Dana Gill's site. Both good for signs.

http://www.trainweb.org/tylick/

You could also go to Google and search on a product name signs or ads and click on images. Then just save them to your computer, size and print.
