I don't believe I have ever seen trees made with lichen

These trees are "old school" but can give you a nice vintage toy train look. They do dry out, but glycerin is used to preserve lichen. This article shows how. http://www.pomfret.com/user/railroad/tips/lichen/ Mark |

Those would be the ones. After checking the link it appears as though that this process is aimed at processing the "raw" lichen. Isn't it safe to assume that it has been processed already when processed by the manufacturer? Does one need to repeat this process again? Thanks for the help! "Getting there one step at a time!" |

Just to add to the lichen discussion. I just expermented with some using it hanging over a retaining wall, once the lichen is attached I used spray adhesive and then sprinkled on noch leaves and they look quite nice. I was pleasantly suprised because I was never a fan of using lichen in realistic scenery. I ended up with 5 large bags so it looks like I will have a use for them after all.
