The Lynden, Washington, Lions Club is once again hosting a model railroad show this weekend, October 3-4. Open Saturday at 9 AM and Sunday at 10. The past several years one vendor has offered good O gauge deals such as Rail King
2-10-0 die cast engines with Proto 2.0 for 129. New! I think they were break-ups, but still much lower than mail order break-ups.

This is a pretty good charity show, put on every year by the Lynden, WA Lions Club. Lots of displays of layouts, some museum & historical society displays, and swap meet tables in all scales. Being so near to the Canadian border, there is more CP, CN and BC RAIL influence than is typical at the Seattle area meets. INFO LINK

Hint: If driving from the south, do NOT take the Lynden / Guide Meridian (State Route 539) exit north of Bellingham on I-5. It is always a traffic mess! Proceed to the Ferndale Exit, then go East until you reach Guide Meridian, then proceed North to Lynden. The show is at the fairgrounds and the route is well marked by signs.
