Our second show for 2008 will be on Sunday, March 30th. Doors open 10:00am until 4:00pm.
If you've never been to one of our open houses, you'll be amazed. If you you've been to a previous one, you'll be surprised how much progress has been made since your last visit. The subway extension is coming along nicely: Pete is nearing completion of "the Palisades" Our numbers are growing and with more people pitching in, the progress really shows! You'll enjoy seeing our diesel servicing facility. This is a one of a kind building complete with an operating transfer table and functioning overhead doors: There are many really cool parts of the layout to see, half of the main layout is elevated: There is also a working turntable with two round houses: Plus Towns, trolleys, eight main lines, wooden bridges, a building modeled after the Ballantine Brewery, the Esso Oil Refinery, Power Plant, Yard Towers and much, much more. We've got some awesome motive power running on the layout these days: Double-headed articulated steam engines: Trains with 50-60 or more cars: Subways: Check out The Sopranos layouts while you're here and have a bite to eat at our "Trackside Cafe"! Need a little sneak peak? Check out our Web-Cams! You won't be disappointed. So bring the family, the kids, the grandchildren, even the neighbors! Check out our website for more information, pictures, videos, directions, etc.: NJ Hi-Railers Hope to see you on March 30th and don't forget to let us know that you heard about us on the OGR Forum. Please tell me I will get to see the scrolling palisades park Coca Cola sign on top of the cliffs
That Train she's a special streamline ya know, and she's fast. That trains so fast, the hobo's don't mess with that train. They just stand by the track with their hat in their hand. -- Tom Rush, The Panama Limited |

That's great!!! Now... if I come back in a few months will the layout be new and different? I mean, if I pay my $8 bucks at a movie theater, I get to see a new and different movie every time!! In other words, how often do you change the layout ??? |

Your club just keeps getting better and better! The new updates on your layout are very impressive! One of these days I'm going to have to plan a visit to one of your Open House shows.

Well, I'm hoping to make it with my two little boys again. We thoroughly enjoyed coming in January. Too bad it wasn't this weekend, as tomorrow (3/3) is my little guy Tyler's 5th birthday. He'll just have to make due with some more Lionel trains I guess!
