Mike P., Oh no, I could not find the older post!
I was wondering if I could get by without cutting these Lionel spinner trucks at all. On the Lionel cf hoppers I did, they needed cutting but the stacks have more swing. I could just file the side of the plastic 804 coupler box also. Here's a view of the swing:

The trucks are simply turned around with the three rail coupler removed and NWSL 2r wheelsets inserted. It appears that there's more truck swing than needed. The ends of the car might rub first? Joe

Joe, the truck swing should work. I just wanted to get rid of the whole thing coupler and all. I anyway that makes it easy for you is what you should go by. I just used the big reinforced carbon wheel on a Dremel and zip, zip and gone. I believe these are the photos you are looking for.
