I agree with Al--more details needed. There are several Kadee couplers that are suitable for On30 and which are easily exchanged for the Bachmann E-Z couplers. Personally, I have stuck with the Bachmann couplers and have been satisfied with them. However, I do need to buy some Kadees for my Accucraft switcher one of these days since it doesn't come with mounted couplers.

S gauge. The problem is not the HO coupler on your ON30. It's the over sized 3-rail coupler on your O gauge.

Guys, Since the D&RGW used standard-gauge couplers on all of their rolling stock, I have been fiddling with using Kadee On3 couplers. They take a little adjusting but will couple with the Bachmann couplers nicely, as I convert my rolling stock. Otherwise, I suggest changing the Bachmann couplers over to Kadee #5's. Jim

Thank you for the responses, I think I will look into On3 couplers as Jim suggested.
If I reject reality and substitute 3-Rail, how does Narrow Gauge come into all of this?
