Hi Bob, while you're waiting for better (easier) directions. I upload my photos onto photobucket site http://photobucket.com/ from there I copy them by clicking the bottom tab and then add them to a post by placing the cursor where I want the photo. Then I press control and letter "v" and they attach.
I see some add their photos to the photo page first at the bottom of the ogr page so there's probably an easier way. Joe P. jwpcfv@msn.com if I could help you more.

dear flanger,

i had the same desire to post photos and mr. friedlander showed me how.

i had simplified the steps for you:

I. Prepare at photobucket.com:

1. Sign up

2. Click 'choose file' at upper right

3. See your HD directory

4. Highlight the file(s) u desire. Use shift and arrow keys
to highlight multiple files u want

5. Click 'Open'

6. Wait till it downloads

7. Cancel out of the 'edit' mode (u may click to not repeat this
title/description edit mode)

Now, you're back at the photobucket but see your photos pasted there. You're ready to paste the downloaded photos at photobucket to the 0-scale forum.

1. At 0-scale forum, open new discussion window (or click 'reply' to whatever
discussion already there)

2. Type up some descriptions of the photos u want from the photobucket into
the forum screen, if u desire

3. hit return to set the cursor below your write up at the forum

4. Click 'IMG Code' shown under the desired photo at photobucket

5. go back to the forum page and hit control V

6. See URL of the downloaded pic at the cursor

7. Repeat steps 2 thru 6 till u're finished listing the photos u want

8. end the discussion at the forum by clicking 'Post Now'

9. See the photos at forum

Finished!

dear flanger,

glad 2b in assistance. it wouldn't have been possible without the help
from people like mr. friedlander and joe. my procedure format came from
my previous career as a software engineer but we use clyptic symbols like:

1. xxxx --> aaa
2. see display window 'zzzzz'
3. sel 'qqq'
4. ...
5. now, use cmd:
CRRR->GGG->XXX, 3, 4, filename, ...

but it's very effective. also, i've noticed in the photobucket where they
automatically gets to a window where u write descriptions of the photo.
that window is poorly designed (poor software engineer's work) and get's u stuck so i wrote u the procedure to steer away from it. u can fiddle there
if u like to write a better procedure for all if u like to venture.

loved the fruit of ur courage to get the job done. the picture angle looks
nice. the track work is superb. liked the details (bolted fish plate and
frogs). the water tower and column are also well shown at this depot.

mr. pitgo along with others also have listed nice pictures of the modern diesels
in action. that gave me an incentive to contribute the same and i hope u will
too. the photos really make this site enjoyable along with the suggestions,
marketed product discoveries, feedback, and many many other enjoyments of this
great hobby.

i'm into modern disels now but i'll put some pics of steam models as well
later.

CARMAN. Thanks for posting this simplfied version of how to post a photo.

I just posted my first photo to the forum, in the scenery section, and you sure made it easy.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
