That is one great looking piece of work. Can you make me one Daddy, can you, can you?

I second Al's comments. It also has wonderful weathering - well used but not decrepit. Was this done with an airbrush, chalk powders or a combination? I really like your imaginative railroad logo - very creative and artistic. A distinctive and beautifully crafted model - well done.

Neat looking loco and well crafted.

Looks like more than enough water in supply to fill the tender.

Thank you all for the comments.

Harry only weathers with an airbrush, the scenery was done by him also.
Not positive the engine was entirely scratch built but will check on that question.

Very nicely done as to be expected - I'll take 2!

Actually looks reminiscent of the Kemtron Wabash Mogul kit....

Gorgeous work!! Old No 1 looks like a cut down version of Mel Thornburgh's 1953 series on scratch building a B&O 4-6-0 in Model Railroader. As for small power my roster includes a Third Rail B&O E24 2-8-0, a Lionel NYC 2-6-0, a Lionel NYC 4-6-0, Lionel CNJ 4-6-0 Camelback, MTH NYC 4-4-0, MTH PRR H3 2-8-0, Lionel SP Harriman 2-8-0, Lionel PRR E6 4-4-2 and more. But there are small engines out there if you want them. Odd-d

Got a clarification from Harry
Old #1 has a Kemtron boiler but #2 in the Photo section has the scratch built boiler.

Ok, I was right and recognized the Kemtron boiler of #1. Always liked the lines of that boiler.........

#2 is a rather different engine, and the boiler is nice. But what's the origin of the mechanism under it? That wheel spacing seems very familiar; looks a lot like some of my old Gem Models F-3c's....
