Ok, modeling an Ex MKT GP9 and I need a full set of the air tanks, known as Torpedo Tubes, for the roof. I see air tube ends on the P&D website, but they could be for the belly tanks. Also needing a pilot snow plow and all weather window like pictured below. Also does anybody offer preformed wire grabs and lift rings in O scale. I know HO well, but new to detailing in O scale. I am also hunting for a single pulse clear strobe circuit that uses a light bulb and not an LED. I am not impressed with the LED circuits in larger scales. I can make the clear lense from a piece of sprue and core it for the lamp, usualy a grain of rice bulb. Unfortunatly you cant see the roof strobe in this pic. Thanks for all the help guys. Mike

rain of wheat bulb that you are looking for but IMHO, the LED's , esp BLUE LEd's strobe MUCH better than any lightbulb. See Detail Associated for a detailed plastic ctrobe that can be carefully cored out to slip over a small [3mm or less]LED.

Circuitron makes the circuit with a grain of wheat bulb.
Both Precision Scale CO and Des Plains hobbies will have what you want for detailed parts.

roads that placed their air tanks on the roof usually did it because they increased the size of the fuel tank beneath, leaving no room for them. The torpedo tubes should be the same size tank on top as below.

P&D offers brass formed grab irons for a GP9, which should be a good place to start.

Exactly PRRman, the fuel tank and water tank were increased as back when she was a high hood unit, she was a passenger GP9, but she lost all of that equipment when the nose was chopped, even the combined water/fuel tank was modified and it was all fuel under the frame. She usualy held the road jobs with her increased fuel tank size. Mike

Torpedo tubes on the roof of jeeps are about half the diameter of the tanks below the frame, four on top and two tanks under works out to about the same volume.
Bill Davis has winterization windows that appear to be Overland parts plus many other diesel parts from Overland. Check it out.

Contact Atlas for a plow. The brass ones are nearly $20.00 while Atlas' is less than 3.00 and looks good.
