Perhaps a little off topic but I thought it would fun to share some of the images I took of the triple header in Chama last Saturday.

Fun weekend in Chama! In December they are running a rail fan snow fighting train. My plan is to be there!

I'm flattered, Eek no.. Thanks for the compliments. Smile It's a load of work, running up the the side of an embankment, getting into position or hanging out the side of a window of a moving truck... Scouting the evening before for the right location, test shots for lighting the previous morning, hoping for the same lighting, and of course when the lighting changes to something new or unexpected, lightning fast decisions or just plain trust the camera(s), sometimes you get lucky! Wink I use a Sekonic light and white balance meter to add to the on camera meter. I use them for reference in illustration/painting.

Thanks

Yes, really nice work whether it be the camera or your picking your locations and I feel you might consider a calendar. I buy one for under $20. Wondering if one of those printing/copy stores could do one justice. I remember 5 years ago taking some family shots in for a calendar with the spiral binding.

At first I thought post cards shots but I like the calendar idea better. A little croping f some shots to bring the engines a bit bigger. Not too big as the scenery is wonderful.

Thanks Phil, I have seen those custom calenders you can make at Wolf/Ritz camera. If you want one I will do a price check and email you the price to make one. I'm happy you enjoy them. Smile
