Gee, kind of dead around here....

OK, I realize this is not worth tipping a Bourbon and breaking out a cigar, but between painting and finishing up my ice dock, I did a quick conversion of MTH Rail King car. I got a bunch of these, and box cars, for $15 a hit when a hobby store closed. (Some places still stock this car at $64!!!) I could not refuse that price. Using the "amazing Ed's" plugs, drilling and taping a few holes, we are finished. 15 minutes tops.

Dan,

From the side that gondola looks sharp. How is the width, shy of the scale 10' or fairly close? Nice addition to the railroad for the price.

Let's go with "fairly close" Wink About 8 1/2'
Still, like you said, for the price, do a little weathering, it will be fine.
