Wow! You've certainly nailed that feeling Dan. I've seen numerous photos of trains at night and your setup looks very right to me.

maybe you could change the wording slightly of the old song,
"Midnite at the Oasis" to Midnite at the Ice House"?!

yep, there is a group of 2 railers trying to form in Bloomington, we'll see how they get going.
I'm game for work/run sessions on my layout and others as well.
be interesting to know how many 2 railers live within 50 miles of us or so.

Great. My wife works in Bloomington. She says the hobby shop there is getting better. I send her there for small things as I need them. Normally I have to drive to Joliet it get most supplies.

Walt's in Crest Hill. It's right off I55 for me. When we lived in Lisle, I did go to the big three. But now it's mostly supplies, paint, styrene, wood ect.

The big items I wait for shows like the upcoming Indianapolis show.

Other items I get from Rails Unlimited. The northern burbs are just a hassle to get to down here for a jar of paint Smile

Now, Hobbyland is going to carry new paint lines and more supplies so I'll check there again.
