I heard from a friend in Japan this morning that Master Sofue passed away yesterday morning. His name had been mentioned very recently in several threads so I thought some of you might be interested in this news. I've never had the pleasure of owning any of his models but I understand they are outstanding and his drives are second to none. He will be missed although his contributions to brass model building will live on.
