I have mostley Lionel O guage on my layout but I have a few AF acc. I bought a bubbling water tower and I am not sure if it is complete. I will try to explain as best I can. There is one wire soldered to the light bulb socket near the bottom. I assume this should be connected to the power. There is a metal tab attached to base which holds the socket. There are no other wires. I am not sure if something is missing or if the ground wire should be attaced to the metal tab. Also, what type of bulb is required?

One lead goes to the tab on the bottom center of the socket assembly, the other lead goes to the brass side of the socket itself. One gets hooked up to base post, the other to the 15V or 17V fixed depending on your transformers power. Bulb size is supposed to be 14V so it generates enough heat, but too much heat can damage the base if you get a cheap 14V bulb that burns a bit hot.
