Has anybody heard any news recently on this product? I had read several months ago that the delivery date was somewhat in question due to legal entanglements of Lionel's contract manufacturer. However, the last time I checked the Lionel website, the delivery date was still listed as Sept 2008. I also read somewhere that someone had spoken with a Lionel rep at York and they said they were trying to reduce the height of the locomotive relative to the drive wheel chassis for a more prototypical appearance.

I for one can't wait for this thing to come out. Anybody have any news they care to report?
