My oil drum loader (lionel, A. F.) which I use on my O gauge layout needs an adjustment. It doesn't pick up the drums very well but when it does it will drop them in the car ok. It seems like the oil drum ramp needs to be 3/8" closer to the pick up truck to get it to work. If I manually put a drum past the edge of the chute about that distance it will go fine. Anyone tinkered with this and have a solution?

My oil drum loader is very sensitive to voltage. You might try varying the voltage.

Hi
I have the non AF repro and I am not sure if it's identical

I watched the 'underneath' mechanics for a while and I noticed it would slip occasionally. Basically I needed a guide for the flimsy plastic
I hot glued a piece of plastic (A broken rope light holder to be exact)to keep the 'arm' from slipping occasionally
Nothing fancy but it worked great ever since

Watch what happens when you hit the button to activate it
Good Luck!
