Is there any interest in attempting to get Lionel to produce an AF Amtrak Acela?
I am new to AF. I am flirting with Lionel (been using 50+ years) and Af on the same Table but on different levels as in the recent Lionel show room. I lucked up on two special sets from 1953 the Challenger Freight Set and the Hudson Passenger Set.

If they work out all the bugs that O gauge version had, I would be interested. Unfortunately, it is a little too modern of a prototype to fit in on most S-gauge railroads.

There is not enough interest in S-Gauge to go that route. Given the issues with the O Gauge model the only way it could be done is similar to the HO Version. Still given the projected sales figures I seriously doubt it will be offered. Jerry

If there were an S Scale Vision Line and S Gauge FasTrack from Lionel, then the S Scale Amtrak Acela Train would be a part of the line-up.
