As a Christmas present for myself I am lookng for a Penn Central 3-rail scale engine.

I would really like to get steam but I have never seen a picture of PC in steam. I would be very interested in a PC scale diesel. I have a GG1, and a Williams GP-38 (not scale).

If you know of an engine like this please let me know here or via my email in my profile.

Thanks.

You need to look at the MTH Premier E-44 in PC and the Williams F3 A-B-A both are scale and really good value for the price!

That Train she's a special streamline ya know, and she's fast. That trains so fast, the hobo's don't mess with that train. They just stand by the track with their hat in their hand. -- Tom Rush, The Panama Limited

Take a look at the recent review of the PC E33 by MTH, tho. They really botched the PC logo. There was no PC steam since the PC came around long after all the steamers on the Pennsy and NYC and NH were retired. Marx did make a PC steamer, but it was low-end.

MTH has the GP35's coming soon. I think PC is one option. They do have scale wheel versions.

Sounds good. I wonder how soon?

Not according to the MTH Product Locator - PRR & NYC, but not PC, unless I'm missing something?

If you're breathing and can attain verticality, everything else is a minor annoyance. MVS.

Here is an engine on the B/S forum:

No TMCC though. I'd just make it into a dummy. The price is good enough.

WILLIAMS DID MAKE A EP-5 IN PC BLACK WITH C TRUCKS. AS A MATTER OF FACT, I HAD THE DUMMY UNIT OF THE AA SET CONVERTED TO POWER AS WELL.

Don't forget the Williams Scale GG1 in PC. Road number 4872 is the current production I think?

The PC logo was a little strange on the E44's, but fixable with a little paint. Nice locos.

Perhaps this next year we'll see a scale (more or less) Williams E33 in PC too.

Have an Atlas Alco RSD15 diesel in Penn Central. 3 rail, tmcc. 2 versions available..All white PC logo, or red "P" and white "C" logo. $299. plus ship.
Full scale diesel with good detail. These engines were based on NJ on the PC, especially Browns yard. In the Conrail days some were down in Pavonia yard in Camden until they were retired.
