Santa Fe Freight F-3 ABA set MTH #20-2219, from the 2000 Catalog, Vol. 1, original MSRP $599.95. This has been converted to TMCC (not by me). Brought this to a LHS and it tested out fine in both conventional and Command mode. Horn, lights fine...may need a couple of traction tires. Comes in original box, but do not have manual

Would sell for $275 $250 shipped. Would also consider trade. Thanks for looking!

Hi,

I have several questions:

Trade

What are looking for? E.g, type of locomotive, rolling stock, or accessory; manufacturer; Premier or RailKing; postwar, etc.? If you let know, I might have something that you might interest you.

Locomotive Questions

I believe that each unit has two motors. Does one TMCC unit control all four motors, or is there a separate TMCC unit in each powered unit?

Where is the Program switch located?

What is the condition, e.g., C-7?

Who converted the set to TMCC? Any idea if it was TrainAmerica Studios?

Thanks!

Modern day diesel, preferably...Atlas, Premier or RK, Weaver etc. As for rolling stock...nothing special, although always like 20k 33 k tank cars, CP or CN tank cars, cylindrcial hoppers, or maybe something matching from a unit train or a set.

I believe it's one unit controlling all four. As I recall, the slave A unit wouldn't run when tested via TMCC unless the other A was attached.

Where is the Program switch located?

Not sure if this is what you're referring to, but see picture of the lead A unit's underside.

    I would say a C-6.

That I don't know. Bought these as part of a larger lot at a Greenberg show a few years ago.

Thanks!
