Seems these topics/questions don't get enough air time on other forums.

I have pushed for repair forums in this suggestion area several times. It gets supported by many of us but gets ignored by Rich.
It is such a vital part of our hobby, I just can't see why it never gets heard!

I'm with you guys 100% on the need for a Repair Forum. Hugh I don't Rich is intentionally ignoring request made here. I can imagine the focus needed on the 3 Rail Forum just to keep it civil. Perhaps the time has come for Rich to share his duties by having Moderators for the smaller forums like this one. The Moderators would in turn touch base with Rich recapping what is going on. What do you guys think?

I'm guessing that repair is a touchy subject and that somebody, who doesn't know what he's doing, might hose something up. This is especially true of transformer repair. OGR Forum doesn't need that responsibility.

DD-1 I certainly respect your opinion and fully understand your reasoning. However, repair advice is given freely on the 3 rail forum almost on a daily basis so
I would think if there was any liability on the part of OGR it would have been brought up long ago. Of course this is just MHO.

I honestly believe this would be just as valuable as the scenery forum. If nothing else, a permanent post of resources (parts manufacturers/dealers, sources for tools, etc.) like dgauss' in the scenery forum would be great... I have plenty of links now, if they're needed! Smile

Respectfully,
