i'm wondering if i am the only one who has had serious issues recently accessing the forum. over the past few days, its been on again - off again ... most recently a 14 hour gap in service. anyone else been a victim of this?
please, if there was an issue could an explanation be posted as a "stickie" at the top? if its something minor such as routine maintenance, it would be nice to know ... keeps me from thinking that info such as home address and phone number have been compromised.

above you will find word for word my post on the 3 rail forum asking for some type of clarity on two issues.
1) why many have experienced a shutdown in access to the forum over the last few days?
2) why every post dealing with the issue has been deleted?
can someone give me an answer to either of the above questions without shooting the messenger?
I don't understand why there was never any mention, or explanation of the "meltdown". Seems there should have been an "oops" or something. It wasn't just a 30 minute glitch, it lasted for 14 1/2 hours by my watch.
As far as the deleted threads, I don't think that whoever caused the threads to be deleted ever ventures this far from home. So he's probably never seen the question. If he did I doubt he would have the cajones to admit it.
